She came home with a tint to her cheeks today. I've never seen that look on her face. But I remembered a similar look on my face. My sweet daughter... Had her first crush. We ate dinner and I got the story out of her. The boy was in her science class. They were assigned as partners. And oh, what pretty brown eyes he had... She told me. And how nice he was to her. I didn't know you long. And I didn't know you as well as I wanted to. But you were happy. And you were excited. Life was going great for you and your family. And just like that... It was all gone. It's such a shock To know everything changes In a split second. And now I regret. Not talking more. Not asking more. Not being curious about more. I believe everything happens for a reason. Absolutely everything But sometimes it's hard to wonder why. I didn't know you as well as I wanted to. But these tears are real. And these emotions hurt. And you know what? I'm sure going to miss you.

I have not been here in a long time. Truth be told I haven't been writing. I've lost myself in the reality that is life and it has been very hard for me to find anything creative. I'm so ridiculously behind here on DA. I haven't been on in 3 months or so and haven't posted a journal in almost a year. My life has been a complete art of chaos. I haven't written much or done any kind of cosplaying. I've been uninspired and a lot of things have been on my mind. Thanks to all who still post amazing things. I'm hoping to be getting back into artful things soon. :)
